Description

Wellbeing that fits work, study and everyday life

Build practical skills for managing work and study pressure, asking for support and making realistic healthy-living choices. Learn through short readings, official video resources, fictional workplace scenarios and interactive checks.

Free · Adults aged 18+ · About 2 hours 35 minutes · Eight lessons and two quizzes

What you will learn

  • Recognise possible signs of stress and identify relevant work or study pressures.
  • Develop a realistic plan and ask for practical support or changes to workload.
  • Distinguish routine, urgent and emergency mental health support in England.
  • Apply basic healthy eating, hydration, movement and sleep principles to everyday routines.
  • Recognise alcohol and drug risks and identify appropriate help.
  • Prepare a realistic action, a support request and a review date.

Your learning route

  1. Mental wellbeing
    • Recognising stress and noticing early changes
    • Managing pressure with a realistic work and study plan
    • Talking about support and knowing where to get help
    • A practical wellbeing plan and a private reflection

A ten-question knowledge and application check follows this section.

  2. Healthy living and safer choices
    • Eating and drinking well on a working day
    • Movement, desk work and an achievable routine
    • Sleep, recovery and working safely
    • Alcohol, drugs and safer choices

A ten-question knowledge and application check follows this section.

How to complete

Read the lessons, try the practical activities and prepare a fictional or non-sensitive action plan. Achieve at least 80% in both quizzes. There is no timer and you can retry as often as needed. Selected NHS videos provide an optional alternative; the readings cover all assessed learning.

Apply your learning

At your next suitable coaching review, explain one practical choice, a relevant support route and how you would adapt your plan. Your coach can revisit this after two to four weeks to check application.

Learn comfortably

All workplace examples are fictional. You can complete every activity without disclosing personal health information. Ask your KBC coach for an accessible format or support if needed. This is general education; follow individual advice from your health professional. Support routes refer to England.
